KILLDROP*
Noise Block Projects developed KILLDROP*, the first efficient and acoustically tested anti-drumming sheet, tackling noise from full-size rain drops dripping on light-weight aluminium window sills.
Large rain drops tend to fall faster than small ones. This phenomenon is partly caused by gravity, but mainly because big drops are submitted to a lower air resistance than small drops.
Large droplets fall hard on the sill which starts to act as a ‘sound box’, amplifying annoying noise with a severe impact on sleep or even concentration during the day.
KILLDROP*is made of recycled SBR rubber, especially developed for this application. A self-adhesive strip (1000x100mm) facilitates fast mounting underneath any aluminium window sill.
KILLDROP* comes with 3 models and various thickness (10-15mm), self-weight up to 22 kg/m2!
